THE WARDROBE

OF INSPIrATION

A Fashion Book Collection

Within this Fashion Book Collection, I have produced a concept inspired by the idea of taking inspiration from ones favourite fictional or non-fictional character or individual. Titled “The Wardrobe of Inspiration”, there are three proposed books within this collection, each covering a different category of taking inspiration. “From Stage to Wardrobe”, the first book within the collection, includes many fashionable examples of celebrity performers and provides style and ‘how to’ advice for the readers to read and take inspiration from. The second book, “From Page to Wardrobe”, focuses on the many fashionable fictional book characters from a variety of best-selling books. It is a guide for readers to read about the styling choices and words of advice from both the creator of the character and the author of the styling/advice book! The third and final edition of the collection is titled, “From Screen to Wardrobe” and similarly provides many examples of popular TV characters and their styling choices. The readers would be able to take inspiration from the hundreds of pages and examples throughout each of the books, and enjoy beautiful fashion sketches, annotations and comments from real life stylists, performers, actors, and authors.

With my love of fiction, fashion and inspiration in mind, this project was one of my favourite concepts to create and bring to life!

This project includes illustration, cover design, branding, graphic design and actual page inserts and written aspects for you to read and enjoy!

“As a person so enchanted and captivated by taking inspiration from my favourite characters and idols, ‘The Wardrobe of Inspiration’ was my way of expressing how I would take inspiration and reflect it within my own personal style and creative vision!”
